As we continue to gather with loved ones this holiday season, we’re reminded of the power of community and the difference we’ve made together.
At OIC Philadelphia, we understand that our strength lies in the support we give one another, in the shared values of community, and in the collective efforts to build brighter futures. This November, we celebrated the power of togetherness and reflected on the many ways we can express our appreciation for those who help us grow, learn, and thrive. As our founder, Rev. Leon Sullivan, once said, “We are all our brother’s keeper, and we must work together to make the world a better place.” Let’s continue to support each other with gratitude, kindness, and unwavering commitment.

At OIC Philadelphia, community engagement is at the heart of our mission. Our involvement in local initiatives is vital to creating pathways for success and opportunity for those we serve. From participating in the Chamber of Commerce discussion panel on the talent pipeline with Sheila Ireland, to supporting the Justice Day Expungement Resource Fair alongside Councilwoman Lozada, we are committed to empowering individuals and fostering growth. We are also proud to be part of events like the Day of Action Community Drive for Women and Girls, the Vaux Big Picture Community Resident WFD Resource Fair, and the See Me See You Career Day at Rhoades Elementary School. By partnering with organizations such as Councilwoman Taller Puertorriqueno’s Annual Drive, we’re helping create a stronger, more connected community where everyone has the chance to thrive.
